We offer a range of services to support the well-being of veterans in Southern Maine. From advocacy and assistance with benefits claims to community outreach programs and social events, we are committed to ensuring veterans have access to the resources they need to thrive. Services include, but are not limited to flag retirement and disposal, honor guard, veteran's ceremony participation, etc.

VFW 6859 PORTLAND MAINE is dedicated to providing support and assistance to United States Veterans of overseas conflicts. As the largest active Veterans of Foreign War Post in Southern Maine, we strive to create a strong community of veterans and ensure their well-being. We have a full-service lounge, free pool, darts and popcorn open daily except Mondays, we have a 120-person hall and commercial kitchen. We host several dinners monthly, live music, karaoke, fantastic comedy shows, bingo open to the public and many more activities all in a non-smoking environment for our members and their guests.
